Native American Style Hijaz Flute - Made to Order
$300 USD — available now.
Each flute is handcrafted to order from beautiful Black Walnut and created in the traditional spirit of the Native American style flute. Designed for meditation, relaxation, personal expression, and soulful playing, these flutes offer a warm and resonant voice with a balanced feel in the hands. Available in the keys of F#, F, and E, each flute is individually tuned and crafted with care to create an instrument that feels both inspiring and deeply personal. Players may also choose either right-hand-on-bottom or left-hand-on-bottom orientation, allowing for a more natural and comfortable playing experience due to the offset lower finger hole. These flutes are available in either 440hz tuning, 432hz tuning, or both. For those selecting both tuning options, the flute includes interchangeable totems designed for each frequency. Black Walnut produces a rich, warm, and grounded tone with clear articulation and a smooth, calming voice. The lower keys especially offer a deep meditative quality while still maintaining clarity and responsiveness throughout the scale. Whether used for personal meditation, performance, recording, or sound healing practices, each flute is tuned for balanced intonation, ease of play, and expressive dynamics. Black Walnut is prized for both its beauty and tonal character. Known for its deep chocolate brown tones and flowing natural grain patterns, each flute carries a unique visual appearance shaped by the wood itself. Tonally, Black Walnut offers warmth, depth, and a slightly mellow character that many players find relaxing and grounding. The density of the wood helps create strong resonance while maintaining a smooth and balanced sound across the flute’s range. Because every piece of wood is unique, no two flutes will ever look exactly alike, making each instrument one of a kind. Every flute is individually handcrafted from start to finish using carefully selected hardwoods and precision tuning techniques. Attention is given not only to sound quality, but also to comfort, balance, finish quality, and visual flow throughout the instrument. The flute is shaped, tuned, and finished by hand to create a professional-quality instrument that is both durable and expressive. Special care is taken with the mouthpiece, slow air chamber, finger hole placement, and voicing to ensure smooth playability and a responsive breath connection. Each flute is made to order, allowing the instrument to be customized to your preferred key, tuning frequency, and playing orientation.
